Audioscan instruments carry the industry’s only 2 year parts and labor warranty. This is made possible by careful attention to design and the very latest manufacturing methods and technology. Extensive self-testing each time power is turned on catches potential problems before they impact your results.

Within the USA and Canada, we provide free shipment by overnight courier of all parts replaced under warranty to minimize your down time. Because the parts most likely to fail are user-replaceable, in most cases you will be operational within one business day.

If you encounter a problem, please:

Record the exact error message or self-test failure.

If there is no error message or self-test failure, note the circumstances that caused the problem in as much detail as possible.

About Grason-Stadler

For over 60 years  Grason-Stadler (GSI) has been "Setting The Clinical Standard" in Audiometery, Tympanometry and hearing healthcare diagnostics. Far more than a tagline, it is embedded in our corporate DNA and is the driving force behind everything we do. Market feedback confirmed that GSI is seen as the Clinical Standard. It also established the three attributes most identified with the GSI brand; Quality, Reliability, User-Friendly.

Quality

Quality was by far the most frequently used word by our partners to describe the company and the brand. Product quality has been a hallmark of the GSI brand over the years, and remains the predominant association people have with the company to this day.

Reliability

Reliability, durability, longevity, trustworthiness. GSI products exceed industry expectations regarding reliability. It has become another way of defining the organization and a proven benefit of a partnership with GSI.

User-Friendly

As hearing healthcare technologies have developed, the vast number of potential features can become quite overwhelming. This is why GSI has always worked closely with our Partners to identify and prioritize what product functionality is most important to them, how it should be conveyed, and what will provide maximum user and patient benefit.

PATH Medical is a German company dedicated to developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art hearing diagnostic equipment. We have worked closely with GN Otometrics in the design and development of the new Accuscreen device, which is well known for the newborn screening application.

We have also designed two systems under our brand, Senti and Sentiero. Both systems are available as either handheld or desktop devices with a color touch screen that can perform audiological tests quickly and accurately. The Senti is a portable screening audiometer with the possibility of adding speech and play audiometry. The Sentiero includes the audiometer capabilities as well as physiological tests such as OAE, ABR and ASSR. The Sentiero Desktop option combines audiometry with OAE and full clinical tympanometry. The later features are designed and engineered for the purpose of follow up for babies that are referred after newborn screening and for children or occupational screening purposes. They provide information on a diagnostic level using the latest technology available. This means the Sentiero is the first handheld device to include a diagnostic ABR and ASSR! PATH medical devices combine the superior quality of German engineering with portability and ease of use.

Both the Senti and Sentiero devices have been cleared by the FDA for sale in the USA, and are also sold worldwide through our distribution network in over 40 countries.

Vivosonic Inc. first formed as a business in 1999 when Yuri Sokolov applied for and was granted the G.R. Heffernan/Co-Steel Innovation Commercialization Fellowship. This generous support by our current board chair, Dr. Gerald Heffernan, allowed Xinde Li and Dr. Sokolov to commercialize the advanced signal processing technology Li had developed while both were researchers at the University of Toronto (Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering). This technology, based on Kalman filtering, later became the patented algorithm that is the foundation of many of our products today.

In 2003 Isaac Kurtz, VP of Research and Technology, joined the Vivosonic team. Under his direction, innovation and research has remained a large part of our corporate culture. With each product we bring to market, we strive to incorporate this spirit through the engineering of ingenious and sustainable solutions that address our users’ clinical challenges, while also increasing the level of care they provide their patients.

In 2005 we launched our flagship product the Integrity. It is the first AEP/OAE system which allows the user to reliably perform ABR diagnostics without sedation or fear of other acoustic or electromagnetic interferences.

Most recently, we have ventured into the Newborn Hearing Screening market with our Automated ABR system, the Aurix. Utilizing our patented algorithm, it is already demonstrating its ability to screen awake or stirring babies more reliably.

The Vivosonic team and our investors are equally poised to continue redefining the standard of care for many years to come.

Vivosonic is ISO 13485 and CE 0120 certified. We market and sell our products globally, through distributors in over 35 countries worldwide.
